About All-on-4 The Basics of Treatment
Immediate Denture Placement
All-on-4 is a way of supporting a full denture along the upper or lower dental arch. A temporary denture can be placed after oral surgery due to the way the implant posts are placed, immediately restoring normal bite function. The final overdenture is custom-crafted and placed by Dr. Bill Stofer at a later date.
Only Four Implants Needed
With the traditional dental implant procedure, six or more implants may be used for a full arch replacement. This system only uses four implants, with two placed at an angle, reducing the amount of bone density needed. The optimal placement and position is determined using the latest planning software.

Most patients who undergo this treatment at our Warsaw practice are missing most or all of their teeth. Any remaining teeth can be extracted as part of the treatment process.
Patients need to have healthy jawbone structure to support the dental implants. If a patient has suffered bone atrophy following tooth loss, other options must be considered.
A dentist will assess a patient's dental health and general wellness prior to the procedure. Patients should be able to undergo oral surgery without a high risk of complications.
